Carbon Fiber Continuous Hinge, Material Thickness: 3.00 mm

Our Carbon Fiber hinges are an industry first. Ultra-thin, super light, and extremely durable, they are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are constructed of carbon fiber leaves, with a tractable urethane impregnated Kevlar flex unit. The Kevlar Is then coated with a 3M UV resistant product for added protection and durability.

Our Carbon Fiber hinges can withstand up to 330 lb. (150 kg) (or more over) a 2-inch (50 mm) length and have been tested at over 1 million cycles with no degradation to the hinge.

The addition of multiple Kevlar layers is possible for additional strength (up to 5 layers) as well as fiberglass leaf reinforcement.

Mounting options- Adhesives, Mechanical fasteners, VHB tapes or bonded directly into the application.
